Once in hyperspace, Gojan begins discussing his plans with his current second in command. "When we arrive, i want all the Darkhawks out immediately. Tell them to restrict their attacks to only frigate class or smaller ships." Gojan turns to the veiwing window in the ships bridge and smiles grimly. "It is time to test this ships power. "
Finally, the Sanguine Blade emerges beside an enormous space based shipyard, containing perhaps several thousand ships, not including the ten destroyers waiting nearby, including Five Legionnaire Destroyers. On the other side of the station, 5 Heavy cruisers were also waiting. As soon as it emerges, the Sanguine Blade begins spouting forth hundreds of the super fighters, which barrel toward the subcapitals waiting in the shipyard, while the Super Dreadnought concentrates all its fire on the nearest Legionnaire. Within seconds, the ship begins floating dead in space, and almost before you could blink, and explosion rips the ship nearly in half. The reaction time for the enemy is quite impressive, but not enough to stop the monstrous ship before them. The enemy manages to begin getting fighters into space in under a minute, but by then, there are fewer than half the original forces left. When only two of the Legionnaires remain, Gojan grabs the main controls and begins to turn the ship, diverting all weapons power to the side engines to turn them faster. As all the weapons shut down, his second turns frantically to him. "Sir?! What are you doing?!" Gojan smiles and continues his work, until the ship is pointed directly at the farther of the two Legionnaires, and directly over the closer. He diverts all power from all systems except life support to the engines and torpedoes, and guns the ship quickly forward. As he passes over the first Destroyer, he fires every torpedo the ship has directly at the smaller ship, continuing his same course until his ship rams directly into the Legionnaire, breaking it in two as easily as one could break a toothpick with its reinforced frontal ramming plate. Gojan begins to turn the ship toward the remaining destroyers, returning power to all systems, but before he can reach them, they, as well as the cruisers, have dissappeared into hyperspace, LEaving the fighters to fend for themselves, and allowing the Sanguine blade to reign Turbolaser blasts down on the planets surface as Gojan's shocked and stunned second looks on with amazement. |
